IT Director, Cedar Rapids, IA

We are looking for an IT Director for a direct hire position located in Cedar Rapids, IA

Summary:

This role oversees multiple Agile delivery PODs, balances technical acumen, leadership skills, Agile methodologies, and effective stakeholder engagement. The IT Director will ensure the delivery of high-quality products while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, computer engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2. 8 or more years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
3. Proven experience in driving Agile transformations and scaling Agile principles across teams or organizations.
4. Ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong familiarity with applicable data privacy practices, regulations, and laws.
6. Solid technical skills with experience leading technical teams.
7. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is strongly preferred.
8. Solid problem solving and analytical skills
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills
10. Ability to effectively balance deadlines with the need for efficient/effective solutions
11. Ability to analyze and research technical issues.
12. Excellent team management skills.
